Pros:This was the most affordable steampad I could find, and it hangs over the door well without jamming it.Cons:When I hang my clothes in the loop provided, the weight of hanger causes it to sag.Overall I am satisfied with this product.I wish it was a little longer in length to Accommodate dresses . It also needs a new design to hang it over the door. The straps are difficult to make perfectly even.I steam most of my work clothes and I hang them behind my bathroom door to get the job done. Been wanting to get something to protect my wooden door and came across this. It was simple to put up. Just loop the straps and hang it on the top corners of the door. Didn't make a huge difference on the steaming until I got to my work pants. It used to take me a long time to steam out all the wrinkles but with this pad, I press the steamer against the pants on the pad, the pad with the cloth side (Terry cloth type of material) pulls the steam through the pants and the fabric straighten out instantly. I was so impressed. It cut down the time I spend steaming to 1/3 of what I used to spend. I was utterly surprised and very happy with this purchase.Hard to hangMuch smaller than expected and the door hanging straps are complicated so I am using a swivel hanger and hanging on my door, not the best set upI. Use it instead of ironing. Takes some getting used to.Maybe it’s just me but the hanging mechanism doesn’t make sense and it would be helpful if there was just a simple loop to pur over your door. The straps are too fussy in my opinion. The best design is simple.Very easy to hang the press board on the door. When not in use, I leave it hanging on a hook on the back of the door, sturdy enough to just hang there. The warmth of my handheld streamer does not penetrate the the pad, safe for the door.As an 88 year old living alone this is useless.My own fault for not realising that as I'm small it would be necessary to climb in order to hang it on a door.Something that at my age I cannot do.It seems well made, so if your are fit enough and tall enough it might be useful but - be warned - it doesn't come with fitting instructions,I should return it but can't be bothered.Very useful for when steaming clothes, with no risk of any damage to my door. Easy to attach and gives three different hooks to place a hanger so you can steam the whole garment easily
