If you don't have an angle grinder, or at least a Dremel, look elsewhere. This will take hours to cut with a hacksaw, and it will be UUUUUGLY. I made the mistake of trying a hacksaw, and after 15 minutes of huffing and puffing, I switched to the Dremel. In the end, I have an incredibly solid in-frame curtain rod for my patio door with zero sag, even without a center support.
